Ann Mond Johnson, CEO, American Telemedicine Association
Ann Mond Johnson is CEO at the American Telemedicine Association (the ATA). Prior to that, she served as CEO of Zest Health, a technology-enabled service; as Board Chair and Advisor to ConnectedHealth, a leading provider of private insurance exchanges; and as co-founder and CEO of Subimo, a pioneer in healthcare cost and quality decision support tools for consumers – for which she was inducted in the Chicago Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2016. In 2020, Ann was recognized by Modern Healthcare magazine on their 100 Most Influential list. Ann is recognized as a thought leader and presents at a range of professional meetings and conferences.
Ceci Connolly, CEO, Alliance of Community Health Plans
Ceci Connolly, a nationally recognized health care leader, is president and CEO of the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP). She spent 25 years in the journalism field and is a well-respected author and TV commentator. As the Washington Post's former chief health correspondent, she chronicled President Obama's drive for sweeping health care reform. In her current role, she works with some of the most innovative executives in the health sector to provide high-quality, affordable care to all. She is a leading thinker on the disruptive forces reshaping our health system and has been a trusted adviser to c-suite executives. Connolly was included on Business Insider’s inaugural list of “DC Health Care Power Players” and was also the first non-physician to receive the prestigious Mayo Clinic Plummer Society award for promoting deeper understanding of science and medicine.
Carrie Nixon, Managing Partner, Nixon-Gwilt Law
Carrie Nixon, Esq. is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Nixon Gwilt Law, a law firm focused exclusively on healthcare innovation. She also serves as Special Advisor to Empactful Capital, a healthcare venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. Carrie is an expert in healthcare law and policy issues relating to healthcare innovation, including Remote Patient Monitoring, telehealth, mHealth apps, healthcare predictive analytics, personalized medicine, and value-based delivery/reimbursement arrangements such as Value-Based Enterprises (VBEs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and other Alternative Payment Models (APMs). She provides counseling in healthcare regulatory compliance matters and strategy advice regarding business models and healthcare transactions. Carrie represents digital health companies and healthcare startups, along with hospitals and health systems, individual physicians and large physician groups, pharmacies, and post-acute care providers. Prior to attending law school, Carrie worked for a senior leader in the US House of Representatives as Deputy Policy Director. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter, and dog.
Alex Rozenbaum, Sr Director for Innovation, American Hospital Association
Alex Rozenbaum is Senior Director of the Center for Health Innovations at the American Hospital Association. He is responsible for developing and managing AHA member and commercial products and services. He is also responsible for managing and developing AHA’s innovation portfolio pipeline. Most recently Alex helped launch AHA Digital Pulse as well as Innovation and Digital Health Affinity Groups that help AHA hospital members learn about digital best practices and innovation techniques across the healthcare and hospital sector. Alex has over 20 years in innovation, product development and management within healthcare. He has led numerous successful product launches within American Hospital Association, CVS Health and Walgreens Boots Alliance. Alex is passionate about innovation in the healthcare sector, patient care and management, and has done extensive work in medication adherence and Medicare space.
